Almost Heaven is a deluxe, wheelchair accessible, mountain top cabin in the heart of Wears Valley overlooking the breathtaking Great Smoky Mountains. With its terrific central location between Pigeon Forge, Townsend, and Metcalf Bottoms, this cabin is perfect for nature lovers, hikers, and families seeking all the delights of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The main area of the cabin is open from the kitchen and dining room to the living room and game room for easy entertaining and casual conversation. We know you'll want to spend as much time as possible out on the decks, enjoying the clean mountain air and panoramic views. From the decks you can see the Great Smoky Mountain National Park between Cove Mountain and Round Top Mountain. You might even witness a bear family in the woods below. The upper deck boasts a new Weber gas grill and a Blackstone grill to prepare flavorful meals.
The large master bedroom is on the main floor. Its en-suite features a walk-in shower with safety bars and a shower seat. A second living area downstairs has an air hockey game and an arcade game table. This area is flanked by a large bedroom with two King beds on one end and a bunk room (2 queens) on the other end. Both living areas and all the sleeping areas feature Smart TVs. The sofa in the downstairs living area pulls out to a queen bed to accommodate 2 more guests. There is a second full bath downstairs and a half bath for guests upstairs.
Almost Heaven conveniently comes with a fully stocked kitchen and a full-sized washer and dryer. A swimming pool is available nearby between Memorial Day and Labor Day for only $5 per person.
There are abundant options for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Townsend (the peaceful side of the Smoky Mountains) is only 5 miles from the cabin and has several eateries, charming shops, and a grocery store, as well as multiple options for river adventures (tubing, rafting, etc).
